Shiva Mandir is a Colorado nonprofit
organization whose purpose is to foster study & application of Vedic traditions. It does not represent any specific teacher
or denomination but supports and upholds all traditions that value the transcendental aspect of life. The gatherings are small
and friendly and each person is encouraged to participate as they like. Shiva Mandir was founded 11 years ago and is located
in a turn-of-the-century Victorian house near I-25 & South Broadway in Denver. You are always welcome!

visiting Shiva Mandir, as a courtesy to the neighbors, you are requested to park on Arkansas Ave., the road just south of
the building.
Please note: If our gatherings exceed the limit permitted by Denver zoning, the events will
be moved to a nearby venue and you will be notified by email or phone.
GURU
PURNIMA. . Tuesday, July 7, 7-9 pm. The Full Moon of July is celebrated as Guru Purnima,
a day to celebrate our spiritual lineage (Guru Parampara) and offer our gratitude and devotion to our teachers. Please bring
a fruit or flower, a picture or statue representing your spiritual lineage, and some sweets (Prasad) to share with the group.
Bring a shawl or sweater, the event will be held outdoors as weather permits. Please RSVP by Monday, July 6th.

Women, Tantra and Spirituality
Workshop with
Swami Karma Karuna. Saturday, July 11, 1-5 pm.
Explore the Tantric concepts of expansion and liberation through yoga practices for the modern woman. Find out how to access
the creative inner force and reclaim your sacred feminine. Including stretches for a woman’s body, expansive breath,
yantra meditation and a discussion on Tantra. Cost: $45
The workshop will be followed by a fire ceremony.
Swami
Karma Karuna is the director of Anahata Yoga Retreat, in New Zealand, and a dedicated, intuitive Yoga teacher with many years
of experience. She has trained deeply in Satyananda Yoga, which is closely aligned to Integral Yoga, as both originate from
the Sivananda lineage. Swami Karma Karuna travels and teaches extensively, holding retreats in India at the home of Swami
Satyananda. She shares a practical inspiration to integrate Yoga into daily life.
Sacred
Geometry Workshop – Encoded Intelligence of the Universe. Saturday, July 25,
1-6 pm. From fractals to pi and the golden ratio, this creation is full
of symmetry and perfection that has awed mathematicians and mystics alike. We will see how sacred geometry has influenced
art and architecture around the world. Each participant will be encouraged to create a painting of sacred geometry (no artistic
experience or supplies is needed – everything will be provided). This workshop is presented by Nafeeah Kim who has written
and taught on this subject as well as created sacred geometry art for the last decade. Please register by July 23,
