the Shiva Sai Mandir offers the following pujas and will be resuming them starting March 21st:

 

Mondays: Morning Puja, 8:00-8:30 am &

Evening Puja, 6:30 to 7:00 pm.

This is the traditional day to honor Shiva. Honoring Shiva brings in the power and blessings of Shiva’s protection.

 

Tuesdays: Morning Puja, 8:00 to 8:30 am &

Evening Puja, 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Tuesday is the day of Mars; firey, dynamic, protective and the bringer of well-being. Bagala Mukhi is called upon for political cause, legal cause, warfare, removal of curses, extricating one’s self from the power of demons and removing hindrances to success and wealth. She is called the Bride with Golden Beauty, the Hypnotic Power of the Supreme and the Goddess of Tantra. The Tuesday puja includes a Fire Ceremony to Bagala Mukhi.

 

Wednesdays: Morning Puja, 8:00 to 8:30 am &

Evening Puja, 6:30 to 7:00 pm.
Wednesday is the day of Mercury; all forms of communication and relationships. To foster ideal relationships, Mother Divine in the form of Lakshmi is honored with a recitation of the Maha Lakshmi Astakam Strotram as part of the evening puja, this enlivens communication based in love and ideal relationships.

 

Thursdays: Morning Puja, 8:00 to 8:30 am &

Evening Puja & Bhajan Singing, 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
Thursday is the day of Jupiter; knowledge and highest spiritual destiny, blessings of the Guru. Thursday is an ideal day for observing some part of the day in silence and spiritual study. The evening puja on Thursday includes a recitation of Shirdi Sai Baba’s 108 Names and singing the Hanuman Chalisa while performing a puja to Hanuman. The evening concludes with bhajan singing.

 

Fridays: Morning Puja, 8:00 to 8:30 am

Fridays are ruled by the planet Venus, and we take this day to honor the feminine aspect of Mother Divine in all her many forms.
